About the awards
The BC Export Awards were presented at the 43rd annual awards luncheon on January 23, 2026, in Vancouver. The event was hosted by Business in Vancouver in collaboration with British Columbia's Ministry of Jobs and Economic Growth, alongside partners including Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, Export Development Canada, World Trade Centre Vancouver, and Global Affairs Canada.
More than 200 delegates attended, including Premier David Eby, Minister Ravi Kahlon, and Parliamentary Secretary for Trade Paul Choi. Since 1982, the BC Export Awards have recognized more than 300 companies across the province for bringing B.C. and Canadian-made products and services to global markets — making it one of British Columbia's most established business honours.
What this recognition means for Newton Industries
Being named Women-Led Exporter reflects more than two decades of export growth for our team. From our Langley, BC facility, we've built lasting relationships with clients across North America as a just-in-time plastic injection molding manufacturer — and we're just getting started, with new opportunities opening up in markets like Mexico.
